1. Overview
Fibi is an AI-powered personal assistant platform intended to help people organise communication, calendars, tasks, records and administrative workflows. This policy describes the information Fibi may access, how that information is used, and the choices available to users.
Fibi is an early-stage product. Its precise features and connected services may vary by deployment. If its data practices materially change, this policy should be updated before those changes are introduced.
2. Information Fibi may access
Fibi may process information that a user provides directly, such as requests, task details, uploaded documents, household or vehicle records, preferences, corrections and approvals.
When a user chooses to connect an external account, Fibi may access information made available through the permissions the user grants. This can include:
- Gmail: message and thread identifiers, sender and recipient details, subject lines, message content, timestamps, labels, and draft or sending actions requested by the user.
- Google Calendar: calendar and event identifiers, titles, dates, times, locations, descriptions, attendees, reminders, and event actions requested by the user.
- Technical information: connection state, authorisation tokens, configuration information and limited diagnostic or action-history records needed to operate and troubleshoot the service.
Fibi should request only the permissions needed for the functionality being provided.
3. Google user data
Google account access is optional and occurs only after the user authorises the relevant connection. Google data is accessed only to provide or improve user-facing assistant features requested through Fibi, such as finding a message, preparing an approved reply, showing calendar information or carrying out an approved calendar action.
- Google user data is not sold.
- Google user data is not used for advertising or advertising profiles.
- Google user data is not used to train general-purpose AI models.
- Access is limited to authorised functionality and the permissions granted by the user.
- Fibi does not permit people to read Google user data unless necessary to provide or secure the requested service, comply with law, or act with the user’s affirmative agreement.
Fibi’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
4. How information is used
Information may be used to understand and answer requests, retrieve relevant authorised records, organise local data, prepare drafts, propose actions for review, carry out actions the user approves, maintain continuity between related tasks, and protect or troubleshoot the service.
Fibi does not use connected account data for unrelated purposes. Consequential actions are intended to remain under user control through explicit review or approval where applicable.
6. Storage and retention
Depending on the deployment, Fibi may store settings, authorisation tokens, local records, user corrections, approval history and action logs in a user-controlled or private environment. Data should be retained only for as long as needed to provide the requested functionality, maintain necessary records, or meet legal obligations.
Revoking an external connection stops future API access but may not automatically remove information already stored locally. Users should remove local records through the relevant product controls or contact Fibi to request assistance.
7. User choices and control
Users can choose whether to connect external services and can decline proposed actions. Google access can be reviewed or revoked at any time through the connections page in the user’s Google Account. Users may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of information held by the operator of their Fibi deployment, subject to applicable limitations.
8. Security
Fibi is designed to use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to its deployment, including local or private processing where suitable and limiting access to requested functionality. No system can guarantee absolute security, and users should protect the devices and accounts through which they access Fibi.
9. Children
Fibi is not directed to children under 13, and the service is not intended to knowingly collect their personal information.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as Fibi develops. The effective date will be revised when changes are published. Material changes affecting connected data should be clearly communicated before the new use begins.
